General Introduction

Welcome to Play4Free! What is this site, you ask? It is a place where you can download, play free games and be apart of a gaming community! We strive to be the place where you can discuss, meet new friends, play games online, set a new high score and more... all in one epic package! :)

Some other side aspects of the site are; to be an distributing point for independent (indie) games, where game developers can get their game featured here and expose their game to new potential players. We also will be doing, sometime in the future, interviewing indie game developers.

Lots more games and content need to be added yet but it's still an active work in progress so far. Feel free to browse the site, as it is now. The website might go down occasionally, as it's still being updated. Things will also be constantly be edited. Games will be added constantly, both flash games, and download-able games. As I am only one person, it will be a relatively slow process, just be patient! Also keep in mind; all the games are hand picked, unlike other arcade sites, where most of them use things called "game packs". That's sorta like cheating, hah!

One of the main goals of this website is to distribute (legally) and promote free games to the general public. We hope to promote your great free and quality games that you awesome developers create. This includes getting the word out about free games, making them more accessible in general, hosting the game's download and/or embedding it on the site itself. I will try to get your permission before distributing the games, although it is rather difficult to obtain each and every games' author's explicit permission.
